Set in a post apocalyptic earth that is more akin to a prison than a planet. A small child befriends Earth causing Earth to feel alive again…which is scary and confusing. But also…beautiful. Full of movement, music, and magic, Earth & Stars reminds us why we must save our planet before it’s too late and why we should do the same for ourselves.

This was a developmental reading as part of the 2026 Outcry Reads Festival. The local playwright, Meagan Majors, was in attendance. There was a talkback following the reading, moderated by director Benjamin McElroy, where the audience members and actors discussed the play with the playwright.
